Novelist, poet, and songwriter, Janie Conway Herron has played in numerous bands in inner-city Melbourne and Sydney during her early career. From 1976 to 1978 she played in the feminist band Stiletto before going solo with her band "Janie Conway's Scarlet." Ref: Rock on Vinyl, 2014.
