Held in MAAS. Artist Martin Sharp, who created the poster for the 1982 Adelaide Festival, was also commissioned by the same artistic director, Gavin Henderson, to create this poster for the International Brighton Festival held in 1988.
Established in 1967, Brighton Festival is a "celebration of music, theatre, dance, circus, art, film, literature, debate, outdoor and family events, which takes place in venues both familiar and unusual in the city of Brighton and Hove in England each May."
