Text includes "At the Exhibition, Prince Alfred Park, Sydney. New skates, new boots. General admission, 6d. Special lunch hour session between 12 noon and 2pm, 6d. (Skates included.) Special session Saturday morning at 10.30, when children will be admitted for 6d. (Including skates.)"
The Exhibition Building at Prince Alfred Park in Sydney was erected in 1870 as a venue for agricultural shows and other events. The building was pulled down in 1954 to make way for a new swimming pool and ice skating rink for training athletes for the upcoming Olympic Games in 1956.
